me and HIM

I envy those who have kept their Faith alive.
I know some childhood friends who was able to keep their passion for serving God burning.

I forget I'm a Christian most of the time.

I smoke, I've had *** with guys I hardly know.

I'm embarrassed to say I'm part of a Christian family.

He had always been good to me, I have never returned any favor, none that I can think of anyway.

I want to start believing in HIM again.

I really do....

I've recently bumped into an email that i thought was very sensitive,she introduced herself as Susana Ople, she said she is the widow of the late Senator Blas Ople,wow.... a vip e-mailed me.
She said she was in another country and that she was in total pain and sorrow after her husband left her.They didn't have children,and because of that,her late husband's relatives mistreated her.She described her situation as 'lion's den'.I felt her deep agony...and I really wanted to help...but I couldn't help thinking "why me?" "why a total stranger?"but what the heck,she needs my help.(haha some good in me=)
And so I replied telling her that i am willing to help her...this morning she e-mailed me again.And it was a very sad one..she has health complications and she is badly in need of medical attention...

She said "
All you have to do to make this transaction a true successful venture is to contact the security company and give them your correct safe residential address where you want the box of money to be deliver, then they will use their diplomatic power to ship the money to your address with immediate effect without any problem before i will come over to meet you.
Alternatively, you can personally travel down to Abidjan where the security company is situated to see things yourself and perfect the signing and claiming of my trunk box from the company as my beneficiary if this option is suitable for you, i will send a letter of authorization to the security company and a copy to you stating that my beneficiary will come down for the claiming of our trunk box presently in their custody for safety reason."


Her grammar error(bold) is kinda awkward,the Oples, if I'm not mistaken are a bunch of good writers.

Then she followed with;
"When I hear from you, i will give you the security company's contact details and the documents that I used in depositing this box of money which is the certificate of deposit they gave me on the very day when I deposited the box of money with a code as family treasure, I will also feed you with more informations and guidlines for you to discuss with the security company without making any mistake.so that you can get in touch with them. They will let you know how to recieve the the trunk box of money totaling $19.million United State Dollars."
(phew!!!...that's  whole lotta money there!!!)
She also pomised to give me extra for my help, now that's a pretty good deal..

But I sensed something wrong..So I told my father about it.He was suprised with how big the amount of money the Oples have,well,who would have known ,right?
But he advised me not to get involved.He said it's too dangerous..

I thought about the woman's situation,What if she had no other choice but to trust astranger?
That I am her only hope?...What if my mom was in her situation?....Should I ignore her despair?
but if i was to extend my help,then I shoul know the background of that person.
I decided to check her profile,I typed her name on the google search,and guess what I found?


"419 scam"...

Almost fell there....

It saddened my heart that she/he had the nerve to fool people by touching the most sensitive part of all,the heart...

So i thought about what to reply...

hehe..

I just said I didn't have enough resources to help her.So if she could send me some money,it would be a great help..
haha
But of course I was only joking!I'm not like him/her!
Now I'm still waiting for her/his response.
Am I a fool had I fallen to his/her trap?It's not a matter of intelligence...I'm just vulnerable and they took advantage of it.They suck..

I'm still waiting for the reply..haha..wanna make a scammer a mugu himself!!

I had doubts then... Is there really an existing God?
Would you believe, I even came from a Christian school.
My whole elementary life was surrounded by these words:prayer, faith, bible, devotion, praise
all encircling "GOD"...
But when I entered highschool..those words got entangled around each other,and the center of it became blurred..
I stopped attending church,even if my Mom was a Ministry head..
She urged me to come with her,she even bribed me by buying nice clothes that i can wear to church..
Still didn't work.I really had no intention of going with her.I didn't see any reason to come.
What for?
Praying by myself was enough for me.He could hear my prayers, I know..
More like"I thought..."...
But I seldom pray that time.. Forgot about him during the goodtimes.
I also failed to remember to call on him during the worst times of my life,times when I was down,degraded,miserable...
He was included in my Valedictory Address during elementary,that was the last time I
thanked him.
In the years that followed, I was still a Christian...but only in words..
When someone asks what my religion is, I would say "Born-again",
and yet, I was slowly dying...

My life ceased to have direction.I was trotting different roads;
roads that led me to deception,roads that led me to pain,roads that led me to hatred,
they all led me to one thing...
Sin...
And so I thought,He was never there...

And i was alone.

But he came to save me...
